Whoo-hoo! We move into a new era of Yolngu contemporary music. These guys are hot ... and incredibly talented with a sound all their own and matched only by some incredible vision which is part of the CD/DVD release just 2 days ago at Yilpara. This is the next big thing since Yothu Yindi, Saltwater Band and Gurrumul.
That said, it's more than the music. It's a powerful story about proud Yolngu and their strong ties to culture, country and homelands. Yo! Maynmak!

Garrangali are the best new act to come out of the NT for some time. Grab this CD when it comes out on 24th March - it is fantastic, and well worth it. It is one of those albums that the more you listen to these guys, the more you will want to keep listening to them. You heard it here first!
