Rob Scott – Sandcastle Music

After an extensive career as Network Co-ordinator and Program Director at Australia’s national contemporary radio network Triple J, Rob Scott moved into the music business creating ABC Music contemporary label Fly. Here he signed artists of the calibre of Vassy, Andy Clockwise, The Morning After Girls, Endorphin and Deepface.  In January 2009 Rob formed Sandcastle Music , a new publishing and recording entity with partners in film & tv music supervision, film production, advertising and with access to recording studios. Sandcastle publishes songwriters and film composers and has a sub-publishing arrangement with respected UK company Warp. Sandcastle has recently released ARIA nominated artist Jen Cloher’s second album “Hidden Hands” and introduced Folk Uke to Australian audiences. On the publishing and synchronisation front Sandcastle has signed roots reggae artist Declan Kelly, string and performance artists CODA, alt. country act King Curly and recently the much talked about Western Australian blues singer/songwriter Abbe May. Sandcastle has also recently completed a deal with Elefant Traks for publishing and master sync for the label.
