Expressions of interest are currently being sought by Alice Rae (Country Town Collective) for NT bands and artists to be part of the Long Way To The Top End tour to the 2011 Fuse Festival in Adelaide. Funding from Arts NT is currently being sought to support another tour in 2011 – 14 NT bands were part of the successful contingent to the 2009 Fuse Music Festival & Conference.

HI Alice, i would love to be apart of the next LWTTTE2011 , John and I can play as a duo or we can incorporate a violin and cello or even a slide guitar . We have a lot of acoustic songs we want to focus on over the next year to hopefully have an album ready for next year. If you would like a sample of them i can email you some tunes, thanks Darryl xo
Awesome! We would love to have you guys along. I am starting to get organised and there is some info at the website at http://www.longwaytothetopend.com, and we will have a meeting soon at the Music NT office to talk through some plans. There is also the idea of a bus tour from Darwin to Adelaide (and back!) it would be good to get people’s feedback on.
Think I have your email so I will keep you posted when we have a meeting (probably in next 2 weeks – if you’re in Darwin at the moment!)
