Music NT  launched the 2010 music season in Alice Springs on Fri 26th March at local venue, Annie’s Place.

It was a fantastic night with great music from local acts Dee & Sassy J, Gareth Dawkins and Max Savage. Plus! A delicious BBQ for members and a great atmosphere. There was a huge turnout with great support from the locals as well as out-of-towners visiting to attend the One Night Stand Alice Springs.

This included triple j presenter ‘The Doctor’ and the entire crew from triple j, who were in town with One Night Stand. They were impressed-as with the vibrancy and talent of the local scene.

The night also launched Annie’s Place as a happening live music venue in Alice, with Music NT also signing up over 25 new members on the night!

Thanks to everyone who came along, and to Scott, Max and Franca for helping out with the food.

Thanks also to CDU trainees Rob and Sam for doing a great job with the sound, as well as Rock City Music, CDU and Annie’s Place for their support in making the night a success.
