The Indigenous Music Awards are on again for 2010 at the Amphitheatre in Darwin’s famous Botanical Gardens.

The event celebrates excellence in Indigenous music over the past 12 months and showcases high quality Indigenous performances to local, national and international audiences.

In 2009 the event attracted a record crowd, national media coverage and featured performances from Australia’s leading Indigenous performers, including Jessica Mauboy and Geoffrey “Gurrumul” Yunupingu.
