triple j Unearthed has partnered with Music NT, to offer two lucky NT acts the chance to play showcase gigs, at the Alice Springs and Darwin iNTune Music Conferences!
To be eligible you need to register your band on triple j Unearthed, nominate your region (ie either Darwin or Alice Springs), and upload your tracks before Sunday August 1st! NT bands already registered on Unearthed in the Darwin and Alice Springs regions, are also eligible for the competition.
Unearthed iNTune Music Showcase Gig Dates
Darwin: Friday 27th August, The Lighthouse, Darwin Festival.
Alice Springs: Friday 10th September, The Pod, Alice Desert Festival.
This is the second time that triple j Unearthed has partnered with iNTune. In 2009 Darwin band The Aviators won the triple j Unearthed spot playing the iNTune Showcase gig in Darwin, supporting Jess Ribeiro & The Bone Collectors at the Darwin Festival. It’s a great development, triple j Unearthed supporting both music showcases at this year’s Darwin and Alice Springs iNTune Music Conferences.
