The best of the Territory’s emerging local artists performed at venues across Darwin during the iNTune Music Conference 2009, including:
1) MUSIC NT ORIGINAL MUSIC SHOWCASE GIGS AT DARWIN FESTIVAL, THE LIGHTHOUSE, 2009.
The artists were: The Moving Targets, Jess Ribeiro and The Bone Collectors, Mark Hilton & The Lavender Girls, Cooperblack and 2Cats1Hat.
2) MUSIC NT & TRIPLE J UNEARTHED SHOWCASE AT DARWIN FESTIVAL 2009
Music NT partnered with triple j Unearthed to make a Showcase slot available to an Unearthed band from Darwin at the 2009 Darwin Festival, Thursday August 20th 2010 at then brand new The Lighthouse venue.
Darwin band The Aviators (above right) won the opportunity to perform in front of over 30 leading Australian music industry figures and a pumping festival crowd. They supported Jess Ribeiro & The Bone Collectors.

3) THE REST OF THE ‘DARWIN SHOWBAG’ GIGS!
4 x Darwin venues – 10 x NT bands – 1 x massive night, Thursday August 20th, 2010!
Great NT bands and solo artists played in front of leading industry professionals, in town to attend the iNTune Music Conference.
The acts were: Ben Slip (Alice Springs), Country Town Collective (Darwin), Dr Strangeways (Alice Springs), Unbroken Expanse (Tennant Creek), Semishigure (Darwin), The Secret Game (Darwin), En Rhoda, formerly Moses (Darwin), The Moving Targets (Darwin), The Aviators (Darwin) and Jess Ribeiro & The Bone Collectors (Darwin).
