MusicNT Strongly Supports National Music Industry Review

MusicNT strongly supports the Music Industry Review of sexual harm, sexual harassment and systemic discrimination in the contemporary Australian music industry, announced nationally this morning.

The review, to be auspiced by Support Act, will include focus groups, one-on-one interviews, an online survey and confidential online written submissions over a period of 6 months, commencing in February 2022.

The aim of the review is to understand the lived-experience of industry professionals to gain deep knowledge of the current culture of the contemporary music industry and key areas requiring reform so that a sustainable, tangible pathway toward change can be established and implemented.
