MusicNT Executive Director Named AusCo Arts Leader

MusicNT Executive Director Mark Smith was yesterday announced as one the Australia Council for the Arts’ 2022 Future Arts Leaders.

Taking place over 12-months, the program is a personal and professional development opportunity that involves three interconnected residentials that take place either in-person or online.

Arts leaders will collectively explore the current challenges and opportunities presented within the arts industry and participants are encouraged to continue collaborating after the programs completion.

Mark joins others from the music sector in this year’s program including Amy Curl of Sydney Improvised Music Association, Leanne De Souza from Nightlife Music and Tenma from India’s The Casteless Collective.
