MusicNT Hit the Road

MusicNT are taking the office on the road, hitting the (Stuart) Highway this March with visits to Tennant Creek and Katherine, as well as opening a  new office space in Alice Springs!

That’s right, MusicNT’s Central office has a new home in The Old Courthouse on the corner of Parsons & Hartley Streets right in the centre of town.

Join us on Saturday, 19 March as we officially launch our fabulous new space with the help of Akeyulerre, Paul Ah Chee and Jessie May from 4.30pm. Register your attendance via Eventbrite.

Both MusicNT’s Central and Top End offices are heading up the track to Tennant Creek to set up shop with our friends at Barkly Arts for March 21 and 22.

Whether you’re a seasoned performer, music enthusiast or general supporter of the arts, we invite you to join MusicNT, APRA AMCOS, 8CCC Radio and Winanjjikari Music Centre at Barkly Regional Arts on Staunton Street from 6pm Monday, March 21 for our Barkly Music Meet Up.

There will be live music, food and drinks so please make sure you RSVP online. The following evening, we’re hosting a Jam Night down at the Memo from 6pm. Everyone is welcome to jump up on stage or to come down and enjoy a night of local music.

If you’re out Katherine way, you’re going to want to join MusicNT at Katherine Regional Arts on March 28 and 29. The Top End MusicNT office will be available during the day to help out with all of your copyright, grant, promotion and performance queries.

Then each evening from 5.15pm the MusicNT team will be hosting Music Fundamental Workshops. Session One on Monday, March 28 talks everything from tax and accounting, to grant applications and music management skills, while Session Two on Tuesday, March 29 looks at festival applications, tour planning, promotions and marketing.

Both workshops are free to attend but we ask that you register via Eventbrite for catering purposes.
